In 2025, FRI-EL Alerion awarded the civil works contract for the construction of the Arlena di Castro Wind Farm, comprising seven GOLDWIND GW155 wind turbines with a 120 m hub height and a rated capacity of 4.2 MW each, for a total installed capacity of 29.4 MW.

All turbine foundations were supported by 600 mm diameter piles with an average length of 20 m. Each turbine foundation was constructed using approximately 750 m³ of structural concrete and 65 tonnes of reinforcing steel.

The installation platforms, each covering approximately 5,000 m², were connected by access roads specifically designed to accommodate heavy and oversized transport required for wind turbine components.

Contract Value: €5,600,000.00
